Okay, so I have a fabulous MAC computer. I love it! It's my little pride and joy. Dale bought it for me 2 1/2 years ago. But it's had some issues. When we first got it, I had my optical drive replaced. Last year my hard drive was acting weird, so I took it in and they replaced the hard drive. Well, Friday night I could tell something was funny because my computer was so loud! So I started backing stuff up, but I couldn't get all of it. Sure enough, it crashed and wouldn't do anything. So I went to the Apple Store at the Gateway. They looked at it, tried to get stuff off, failed, said they'd replace the hard drive, whatever. I was so frustrated, but oh well, right?! We went to grab some dinner, since we'd been there for four hours, and then Apple called me. "Hey Janae, we just decided you have been through enough. We are going to give you a new MacBook Pro. Come pick it up!" Okay.... so we went back down and got the computer. I said to them, "Can I just have my old hard drive?" So he walks out with my new computer and hard drive in a bag and says, "You know this doesn't work?" I'm like, "I know! But I just need to try some more!" I walked out of the store, crying, holding my new computer, but mourning my losses! So bitter sweet!

My Own Cake Wreck
One my favorite blogs to check out is Cakewrecks. I love making cakes, and got a little ambitious for Brayden's birthday cake this past week. He loves big trucks, and I found this adorable backhoe cake.
So I spent all of last weekend baking cakes, making frosting, cutting my cake out, and putting it together. The night before, it was looking really great. I put it in the fridge and pulled it out the next day to finish up. OUCH! It was cracking.
So I found some blocks to put under it. By the time we came home from church, it was completely cracked in half!
There were some screams, and definitely some sad little tears, but Brayden didn't care, and he was all smiles!

Burned Oatmeal....
Clayson decided to be independent today. I'm talking, "No Mom! I don't want breakfast!" This is pretty normal. So I go upstairs, get Ady's hair done, and Clay comes up and says, "I made my own breakfast." Apparently he dragged a chair over to the microwave, emptied an instant oatmeal packet in a bowl, stuck in the microwave for I don't know how long. I ran downstairs, and sure enough, the kitchen is full of smoke. I open the microwave, another blume, and see the damage. This picture is what I found. So we have been living in a house at 56 degrees, trying to clear out the disgusting smoke. Do you wanna come taste some oatmeal?
