Ady's First Day of School

Ady was so excited, she didn't even seem nervous today with her First Day of School. She is doing the Spanish Immersion Program and the teacher I met wouldn't even speak English in the classroom, she walked me out and said they have a really strict policy, they don't even speak anything other than Spanish in the classroom. Good Luck Ady!!

So in these critical learning how to read years, she isn't even being taught in her native language? Sounds like we are catering too much to those who may not even be here legally to me! But enough of my own opinions...
How exciting to go to school all day long! Christopher started K today, we will see how it was during the "dinnertable recap" tonight!

I love the Spanish Immersion Programs that schools have. Why not have your kid learn a second language?

Oh, and about your new calling....my advice is to get down on their level and also lead by example. They already have parents and other leaders to always be telling them what to do, so just be their friend and be creative in how to get them to be less rowdy!
