Soccer Season Comes to an End

Soccer was crazy this spring. It was actually good weather through the whole season. Most of the games overlapped, so we were running from East to West and all over trying to make the games. Ady became a very good ball-handler- we were impressed with her abilities!! Her team, however, we did not coach to be a winning team- oh well. We had a good time coaching those cute little girls, or big girls! Go Cheetahs!!!

Clay's team got better this spring! All the players actually played. Last Fall, two players wouldn't even play without their mom's on the field. This Spring, the one did amazing (Go ZACH!!!) and the other would play just fine, but we figured it was mom who was having a hard time letting go, and ended up taking over the coaching from Coach Kerri most the time so she could be on the field. Kinda funny!!!  Grandma and Granddad made it to one of the games, and both the kids did awesome. They were excited to have them there with them. Afterwards, we celebrated and took them to "Little Taste of Britain" to try out their British food. Sorrel really enjoyed it....The next week, their last game, Grandma and Grandpa came. Again, the kids did awesome. Clayson did a kickoff, but the funny thing is, he backed clear to the goal for the other team, ran, kicked, followed up, kicked, and made a goal! We were laughing so hard- quite the play by Mr. Clay!!! We went to Subway to celebrate our last game of the season- we are proud of these cute little soccer kids!!
