We started the year off with our cousin Bracken's birthday. My sister is quite the party thrower, and made this amazing Super Hero cake, as well as the games. The kids loved it!

Brayden guessed the winning number at how many bean were in the jar, using his "Master Mind." It was such a fun party!
I decided that this year I needed to start taking care of myself. Something that has really been getting under my skin is my jewelry. This is my before. Everything has been stuffed in these drawers, or on top.
I took a piece of board, mod-podged pieces of scrapbook paper, put some big nails in it, and hung my stuff on there. It has been the most amazing organization board ever! I don't have a pic of the jewelry hanging, but trust me... it's the best!
Clayson got new glasses for his birthday and they came in at the beginning of the year. He looks so stinkin' handsome, doesn't he?!!
Ady was in the schoolwide spelling bee!! She won 3rd place in her class, so was invited to the school spelling bee. She got out close to the first with the word, "omission." Bummer- we were so proud of her!! What a little smarty pants!
This year we bought Grizzly Hockey tickets as a part of a season pass we bought. We went down to a couple of games. The kids had so much fun! They were really fun games. The kids learned a lot about hockey, too. What a great beginning to our year!
